This isn’t for everyone — and that’s the point.

This space is for coaches who are serious about their craft.

-01-
You’re already trained — now you stay in the practice

You hold an ICF Level 1 (or equivalent) coaching certificate and you want to keep refining your coaching through real conversations and consistent practice.

-02-
You commit to showing up

You come together the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00–7:30pm. In each session, you meet your buddy coach and coach each other. Throughout the month, you reconnect to continue the kōrero and deepen your practice.

-03-
You stay accountable to your growth

Each month, you return and are paired with a new coaching buddy. This keeps your coaching fresh, stretches your thinking, and strengthens your ability to work with different people and perspectives.

So here’s what I know… everyone needs a coach, so why can't it be you!

^^ Exactly why spaces like this matter.

When coaching is practised regularly it becomes one of the most powerful ways you grow as a leader and a coach. It sharpens your listening, deepens your presence, and strengthens your ability to work with real people in real situations.

You already hold the foundations.
This space is about keeping them alive.
A single coaching conversation, done well, can shift how someone thinks, feels, and moves forward.

This programme is facilitated by Naketa Ikihele (PCC, ICF), a coach with over 10 years of experience, currently undertaking doctoral research reimagining coaching through a Moana-nui-ā-Kiwa perspective.

Working alongside Naketa, you’ll have the opportunity to practise, be stretched, and learn in real time, in a space that is grounded, relational, and focused on the craft of coaching.

But don't just take my word for it....

“The Coaches Collaborative has been a powerful space for my growth as a coach. It offers a safe practice ground to learn, make mistakes, and sharpen my craft in real time.

I leave each session more confident, more grounded, and more aligned to my purpose.”

Under her guidance, I’ve grown in clarity, confidence, and capability. I feel better equipped not only to coach others, but to lead, reflect, and navigate complexity in my own life.”

We don’t network. We build community.

  • Community: This is more than networking. It is a space to build real relationships with coaches who are committed to the craft.
  • Practice: Stay connected to your coaching through monthly wānanga, buddy coaching, reflection, and real coaching conversations.
  • Growth: Build hours, sharpen your presence, and keep developing alongside coaches across Moana-nui-a-Kiwa.

Imagine...

Turning up each month and actually coaching.
Not thinking about it. Not learning about it. Doing it.

Leaving each conversation clearer and more confident.
Because your coaching is being used, stretched, and refined in real time.

Being part of a community that takes coaching seriously.
Where you are supported, challenged, and reminded why this work matters.

A Note From Naketa 🌿

Kia ora, I’m Naketa Ikihele, founder of Cultivating Culture and creator of The Coaches Collaborative.

My journey into coaching has taken me from Aotearoa to leadership and education spaces across the world — from Saudi Arabia to Sydney and beyond. Learning and working alongside people from different cultures has shown me that coaching is less about having the right answers and more about how we show up in the conversation.

In teaching, consulting, and mentoring, there is often an expectation to lead with knowledge or expertise. What drew me to coaching is that the mana stays with the other person. Our role is to hold the space, listen deeply, and support people to realise what is already there.

Through my coaching practice, global experiences, and life within our whānau, I’ve learned to pay attention to what is said and what is not, and to create spaces where people feel safe to think, reflect, and grow.

I’m an ICF PCC coach with over 10 years of experience, and I’m currently completing my doctorate, where I’m exploring how coaching can be reimagined through a Moana-nui-a-Kiwa perspective.

I created The Coaches Collaborative because I know how easy it is to complete your training and lose connection with the practice. This space is about staying in it, continuing to grow, and learning alongside others who value coaching in the same way.

This is a space for practice, community, and growth.

Everyone needs a coach. Why can’t it be you?

“The Facilitation Garden is a treasure trove of learning I can return to whenever I need clarity or inspiration. There’s so much to explore — the videos, downloads, and resources make it easy to implement straight away. I feel calmer, more reflective, and more confident in how I listen and lead.”
Leadership programme participant, Aotearoa NZ

“Thank you for the opportunity to access this taonga of new knowledge and inspiration. The videos are practical, clear, and uplifting — I’ve already shared them with my team. My meetings feel more positive, and I’m using the strategies to help others share ideas and stay engaged.”
